Zurich, January 17, 2017. China and the USA look set to be the fastest-growing export markets for Swiss exporters in 2017. This expectation was expressed by the Swiss SMEs questioned in the latest export sentiment survey conducted by Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE). Export sentiment among Swiss SMEs at the start of the first quarter of 2017 has climbed to its highest level in two years. Meanwhile, Credit Suisse’s ranking of the ten most promising export markets for 2017 places all of them in the Far East, with two exceptions: Norway and Poland. The current foreign demand situation looks the best it has in five years, according to the Credit Suisse Export Barometer.
