Since June the US company Enterprise Development Group has been looking after its German-speaking clients out of its new branch in the St.GallenBodenseeArea.

The company was founded by Swiss citizen Herman Gyr. Gyr, who comes originally from Langenthal in the canton of Bern, founded Enterprise Development Group (EDG) in 1986. Headquartered in Silicon Valley’s Palo Alto, it assists companies to develop their innovations by identifying market signals and trends and creating the corresponding innovation architecture.

Gyr, co-founder Lisa Friedman and EDG employees help their clients develop strategies and internal management structures. They also offer training and implement online innovation strategies, benefitting EDG as well as its clients from the innovation incubator network in Palo Alto. Partner companies include the Bern company InnoArchitects.

The new branch in the St.GallenBodenseeArea will strengthen EDG’s relationship with its customers in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. EDG Switzerland will benefit from the experiences of Myriam Gröbli, who works at the University of St.Gallen as well as EDG regional manager for Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
