Trade Mission «Space Technologies » Southern Germany: 29 May – 02 June 2022
With sales revenue approaching €2bn and providing roughly 6200 jobs, Germany has, after France, the second biggest space industry in Europe. A particular feature of the German space industry is the large number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) involved in the development and manufacturing of subsystems and components.
Together with the Swiss Aerospace Cluster and the Swiss Business Hub Germany we have now confirmed a Space Mission week in 2022 to visit aerospace companies and generate business opportunities.
The Space Mission will launch 29th May in Zürich and concludes on 2nd June at the Aviation & Space Symposium in St. Gallen (and Bodensee Aerospace Meeting).
Your fact-finding mission will include company visits and networking slots at (tbc):
- AIRBUS Space
- MT Aerospace
- Thales Alenia Space
- Isar Aerospace
- DIEHL Aerospace
- DLR
…followed by a formal reception at the Consulate General in Munich, to which we invite additional Aerospace companies from Germany.

Site Visit 1: DLR, Oberpfaffenhofen
- Presentation of DLR activities in Oberpfaffenhofen

- Lunch on the DLR Campus
- Networking with peers of DLR and selected local companies
Site Visit 2: Isar Aerospace, Ottobrunn
- Presentation of Isar Aerospace activities globally and locally
- Guided tour
- Exchange Swiss Delegation with DLR peers, engineers, BizDev
Evening reception by the Swiss General Consulate in Munich
with invited guests and companies from the Munich area.
Day 3: Wednesday, June 1, 2022
