Swiss Design – an export argument for every product
A unique selling proposition which increasingly becomes an argument through all sectors is the famous Swiss Design. The criteria of an innovative design nowadays has become equally relevant for consumer and non-consumer products especially. As an example, a food cleaning machine (i.e. treatment of meat) which is a strictly industrial process nowadays has not only to fulfill the traditional criteria of a Swiss product such as quality, precision and reliability but also an innovative, sober and functional design, hence Swiss Design.
Italy as an international platform
Italy has become an international reference platform in the design industry. The strength of the own local industry has allowed to positioning not only the Italian Design, but becoming a major reference point when it comes to global design trends. The Swiss Business Hub Italy developed during the 2018 edition of the Milano Design Week an own format for a collective exhibition of Swiss companies
The format was sold-out in a couple of weeks. Based on this success, as similar activity will be developed for April 2019. Individual formats and collaboration can also be developed with other stakeholders in Italy. The Swiss Business Hub Italy has very close contacts with partners such as IED institute, Swisschamber/Swisscorner, fair trade organizers etc.
