A competition is being held for this purpose, and companies from all over the world are invited to take part. As part of this process, the companies have to address the following questions:
- How can we use the most exciting combination of sensors, devices and applications to create a magical visitor experience?
- What is the most exciting way to make use of chatbots, artificial intelligence and social exchange in order to create personalized visitor experiences that can also be shared?
- How can we make use of virtual reality and augmented reality, both inside and outside the museum, in order to create experiences that go beyond space and time, allow millions of people to explore the space virtually and physically, and blur the boundaries between the physical and the digital worlds?
The competition is aimed at companies that have already developed demo products.
How Swiss companies can take part
Interested companies can apply up until June 9 via this link. The selected companies will then fly to Dubai to refine the technologies for a special visitor experience. The program starts on July 1, 2018 and will last for six weeks.
