Mr. Deiss, which are your company's most important export markets and why?
BLOCKCHAIN PROPULSION is interested in the emerging markets around the world where blockchain adoption will have a major economic and social impact, such as Brazil, India, China, and Turkey. That said, we are also focused on strategic markets such as the United States, European Economic Area, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan.
What challenges does your company face in these markets?
In some of these markets we are encountering fears concerning the pitfalls of cryptocurrencies, which are further accentuated by recent statements from the US Treasury Secretary that digital currencies are a “national security threat”. Whilst acknowledging that cryptocurrencies must meet the same anti-money laundering standards as traditional financial firms, governments need to understand that the cryptocurrency market is here to stay and that the underlying blockchain technology is game-changing and offers significant advantages.
What is your recipe for successful export?
Our recipe is based on enabling blockchain startups and enterprises to focus on their strengths and core competencies, while leveraging the collective intellectual capital of our experienced entrepreneur team to further enhance and scale businesses worldwide, achieving sustainable competitive advantage for our projects in a new decentralized and tokenized digital economy.
What are you particularly proud of at your company and why?
I’m proud to have assembled a great team of highly experienced blockchain entrepreneurs and practitioners, who bear the scars of entrepreneurship but remain passionate about building the next unicorns. Bringing together this collective wealth of knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices is of significant value to the startups and enterprises going through our program.
