Gotham is the biggest coworking facility in Switzerland with over 2,300 square meters of closed offices, meeting rooms and open spaces. Conveniently located in the center of Lausanne right next to the train station, it is equipped with state-of-the-art Vitra furniture and Logitech technology. Its tenants benefit from a fun and stimulating working environment designed to enhance their creativity and generate networking opportunities. They can move around on scooters, write on the walls, play table tennis, take a ride on an indoor slide and chill at the on-site bar. Gotham Lausanne is the flagship of a series of coworking spaces expected to open in Zurich, Bern and Geneva in 2018 to allow start-ups to thrive in an inspiring and challenging environment.
Sharing more than space
The brand new coworking space got off to a good start. “We got a natural traction initially by pure word of mouth and gained 60% of occupancy rate without marketing. And we see several start-ups doing businesses together, just a few days after the first meeting”, said Gotham co-founder Eric Laudet. In addition to high quality infrastructure and flexible premises, Gotham offers an innovative ecosystem where like-minded entrepreneurs, freelancers, SMEs and multinationals active in various sectors can network, collaborate and share ideas. Companies on site include cryptocurrency start-up SwissBorg, on-demand home cleaning platform Batmaid and IKOS, a consulting firm specialized in the railway sector.
