Every year, over 800 decision-makers from industry, the energy, finance, insurance and construction sectors as well as representatives of NGOs, the Swiss government and cantons take part in the event. The SwissECS has been held annually since 2007 and has been gathering momentum ever since. The SwissECS showcases cutting-edge technologies from energy and environmental technology that play a key role in climate protection. Participants can find out more about current energy and climate issues in various formats, such as keynote speeches, interactive podiums, innovation pitches, breakout sessions and an exhibition zone featuring demonstrations of the latest solutions. This year’s edition is themed “on the move – co-creating the change”
What are we offering you?
The Cleantech team at S-GE, as a part of the mandate for the promotion of cleantech exports from Switzerland, would like to offer one of you the chance to be present at the event with a stand in the exhibition zone. The choice of whom will receive this will be made based on your pitches by a jury.
Why are we doing this?
One of our most important tasks is to encourage new exporters to take the first step or make exporters with some experience ready for expansion. By giving an excellent cleantech company the opportunity to present itself, we can shine a light on the international success in reach for all Swiss cleantech companies once thoroughly prepared.
So how does it work?
The pitch must take the form of a short video (30 to 90 seconds in English, German or French) which may also be filmed with a smart phone where you should present the products and/ or services you are promoting abroad, your international business strategy and how this demonstrates your idea of “On the Move”. You can be an export starter as well as a more experienced company.
Who can apply?
In order to enter you must be a Swiss or Liechtenstein based company, be an exporter of cleantech and be registered in the Cleantech CUBE (before the 5th of June 2018).
When will this happen?
Applications should be sent to cleantech@s-ge.com by the 24th of June. The jury will review the applications and the winner will be notified on the 2nd of July. We will then set up all the necessary arrangements with the organisers of the event to support you.
