To make a customs tariff enquiry to the Swiss Federal Customs Administration, an enquiry form must be completed with the following information:
- Description of the goods with details of
- type and properties,
- presentation and/or packaging and
- intended use; - For goods made of different substances, the composition (formulation) with the proportions of the individual components by weight (%);
- Internet links and references to specialist literature;
- High-resolution or good-quality photos;
- Catalogs (or excerpts thereof), leaflets, instruction manuals, product sheets, plans, information on the manufacturing process and other relevant documents.
