Home of international sport
Around 60 international sports federations and organizations call Lausanne their home. They benefit from specific advantages in terms of residence and work permits, customs, the purchase of buildings, taxation and VAT. The Swiss city has been proudly hosting the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee since Baron Pierre de Coubertin requested it in 1915.
