Axon Vibe announced in a Twitter post that it has been selected as the overall winner of the Billion Journey Projects. This is the UK’s largest privately funded transport accelerator programme across the rail and bus industry. It is organised by Go-Ahead, one of the largest mobility providers in the country.
With this competition, Go-Ahead is seeking innovative solutions for mobility problems. Axon Vibe impressed with its specially developed smart platform, which identifies and understands the movements and behaviours of users, as well as being able to make predictions. This solution will enable mobility providers to plan more effectively.
Axon Vibe was founded in 2014 and has its headquarters in Schlössli Schönegg in Lucerne. It was created by location technology pioneers who sold their former company Endoxon to Google in 2006, significantly contributing what is known as Google Maps today.
