Ernst Sutter AG reported in a press release that it received medals from the German Agricultural Society (DLG) for all 23 products entered this year. In addition to 17 gold, the meat manufacturer from the St.GallenBodenseeArea won five silver and one bronze medal.
Once again, particular recognition was given to regional specialties, proof that the great quality of preceding years is being maintained. The St.Gallen Bratwurst has now won nine gold medals, while eight have been bestowed on the Emmental Käsewürstli cheese sausage and seven on the Appenzeller Mostbröckli cured meat delicacy.
As a result, the long-term product quality was also honored for the eighth consecutive year. To receive this quality label, Ernst Sutter AG explained that “at least three products must receive medals for five consecutive years”.
