After a successful, sold-out inaugural edition last year, THE SPOT returns to the Olympic Capital on 28-29 May 2019. The two-day event will bring together bright minds and visionaries from the diverse sectors of sport, science, technology and health, to explore and discuss pioneering developments aimed at stimulating progress in sport. This year’s edition will focus on connected sports, new forms of sport, performance and health, media and marketing.

THE SPOT promises to offer a wide range of content and experiences. At the Marketplace and the Demo Zone, participants will be able to present and discover new products and solutions. During the conference and unconventional workshops, four main topics will be addressed : expanding the physical and psychological potential of the human athlete ; driving the creation and development of new materials, products and business models ; the social impact of sports innovation and evolving lifestyles ; and the revolution(s) in sports entertainment and fan engagement. The event will also feature an international start-up contest : about 80 young companies will present their pitch and compete in front of investors. Fun social side events and networking opportunities will complete the program, making unexpected connections and new cross-sector partnerships happen.
