The world exhibition Expo 2020 will take place in Dubai from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021. The overarching theme of the Expo is "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future". Some 25 million visits are expected, with 30% coming from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and 70% from abroad, thus making this the first event of its kind to attract more international visitors than local attendees.
The Swiss Pavilion: a showcase for Switzerland’s excellency
Around 2.5 million people will visit the Swiss Pavilion, its goal is to reflect key aspects of Switzerland's culture, natural beauty and innovations. All delivered through a series of interactive elements and images: the country's breathtaking landscapes serving as a backdrop to Swiss solutions for a sustainable future, showcasing our technologies, innovations and scientific achievements. The target audience of the Swiss Pavilion is opinion leaders, decision makers, media, local and international visitors.

WETEX 2020 (26 - 28 October 2020)
WETEX is a leading global Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition, organized by Dubai's Electricity and Water Authority DEWA. Who are also responsible for the Dubai Solar Show, which is an integral part of the Exhibition. Swissenviro will host a Swiss Pavilion at WETEX, joint activities between the Swiss Pavilion at Expo 2020 and the Swiss Pavilion at WETEX are being planned.

The Focus Weeks treat a specific topic and will be reflected by all exhibiting countries at Expo 2020, thus offering a significant opportunity for an international exchange with experts, entrepreneurs and potential customers within the subject area.
