The SportAccord World Sport and Business Summit – a 6-day annual gathering bringing together representatives from more than 100 international sports federations and organizations – will take place at the cutting-edge SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne from 19-24 April 2020.

“We are delighted that Lausanne will be hosting SportAccord once again. As a major event in the international sporting calendar, Lausanne provides a favorable location for sport and business leaders to meet, given its strong commitment to sport and industry,” said SportAccord President Raffaele Chiulli in a press release, emphasizing the warm welcome received when the gathering was last held in the Olympic Capital in 2016.

The 2020 conference theme is “Breaking Down Barriers in the Ever-Expanding World of Sport”, with a variety of world-class speakers and subject matter experts. The program will feature five streams – CityAccord, HealthAccord, LawAccord, MediaAccord, and the SportAccord Summit – enabling participants to network with sporting leaders at the highest levels.

Initially scheduled to take place in Beijing, the SportAccord World Sport and Business Summit was moved away due to the coronavirus outbreak in China.
