The World Expo 2020 in Dubai will now be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. As part of a focus week from November 21 to 27, 2021, the entire World Expo will be dedicated to the topic of urban development and cities.

During this focus week, Präsenz Schweiz, in collaboration with Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) and other partners (including ETH Zurich Singapore Center, EPF Lausanne IGLUS Centre, EPF Lausanne Middle East, Bestmile), is organizing a three-day event in the Swiss Pavilion on the subject of smart cities, circular economy, waste and recycling. In addition to the event in the Swiss Pavilion, networking events will take place with other national pavilions.

Meet decision makers

As the entire World Expo is dedicated tos the topic of urban development and cities this week, experts from academia and business from around the world, as well as public decision makers from the Middle East, will be present at the World Expo all week.

Swiss companies from the fields of smart cities, circular economy, waste and recycling will therefore have the opportunity to present themselves and their services to a global audience and to exchange ideas with experts from different countries.

Participation options

Swiss companies have the following options to participate:
-    Preparation of a presentation or interactive show for the audience of the Swiss Pavilion
-    Participation in panel discussions with local universities, companies and representatives of the public sector
-    Exhibition in the Swiss Pavilion

Präsenz Schweiz and S-GE aim to have an exciting mix of established Swiss companies and innovative Swiss startups on board.
