The Obwalden-based start-up has developed a digital recruitment platform via which employers can organize an informal lunch meeting to discuss vacancies with potential candidates. The meeting can be either virtual or in person, with the platform promising to offer new opportunities for both parties to get to know each other.
La Prairie invites potential employees to join them virtually or in person at the company’s location in Volketswil in the canton of Zurich for a lunch meeting. According to the La Prairie profile on the CareerLunch website, the company is predominantly interested in meeting interns and trainees at present.
La Prairie, a subsidiary of the German company Beiersdorf AG, specializes in the sale of luxury cosmetics. The company’s products are based on the developments at the famous La Prairie Clinic in Montreux, Western Switzerland.
Founded in 2019, CareerLunch AG raised gross proceeds totaling 1.1 million Swiss francs from an investment round in May of this year. Dozens of reputable companies are already listed among CareerLunch’s client base, including Accenture, Microsoft, Deloitte, Zurich, Dr. Oetker and Swiss Life.
