Typewise Keyboard

1.    Could you briefly describe your company and explain your main activities?

Typewise is a Swiss deep-tech company that increases the productivity of customer service and sales teams two to three fold. The AI text prediction solution increases efficiency and communication quality. The technology is already used by Fortune 500 companies (e-commerce, logistics, etc.) as well as 2 million end users and was recently awarded the CES 2022 Innovation Award.

2.    How important is the international market for you, and the American market in particular?

The international market is very important for us. We offer our AI technology in over 40 languages, enabling us to serve customers all over the world. The USA and Europe are our two most important markets. We are currently running pilot projects in customer service and sales departments with several international companies. If you are interested in a pilot project to increase productivity in customer service or sales, please feel free to contact us.

3.    What (positive or negative) surprises have you already encountered in export?

Perhaps the most surprising element was our popularity in South America. Since we also offer our keyboard app in Spanish, users from several South American countries have used Typewise on a large scale, even though we have not actively promoted it there.

4.    What was the significance of attending CES 2022 for you and what were the results?

We won a CES Innovation Award for the second year in a row and were lucky enough to attend CES 2022 in person. Winning the award and being present at the show led to a lot of media coverage, new business contacts and new relationships. For us, it was a fascinating experience to be part of such a long-standing and prestigious technology event.

5.    To what extent did S-GE contribute to the success of the company and in which areas were you supported?

S-GE enabled us to attend CES 2022 and introduced us to potential customers, such as the US Postal Service. S-GE has been very helpful in improving our presence, getting pitching opportunities, and introducing us to companies in the US. We are very satisfied and grateful for the help we have received so far from S-GE.
