HSLU establishes master program for logistics

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) is setting up a Master of Science course in logistics & supply chain management. Graduates should be able to develop future-oriented, sustainable logistics processes and supply chains. It will be launched in September 2023.

According to a press release from the HSLU, it will be offering a Master of Science course in logistics & supply chain management from the fall semester of 2023. The two-year course will be run by Logistikum Schweiz and the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. Graduates will receive the required knowledge to contribute to the development of future-oriented, sustainable logistics processes and supply chains.

The HSLU explained in a press release: “The management of complex value-added systems is characterized by technological developments, sustainability targets, and economic frameworks.” Interdisciplinary collaboration is required to develop sustainable solutions in this area. Therefore, the master course created by the HSLU combines elements from business management, technology, IT, and applied psychology. 

The registration deadline for the first course in the fall semester of next year is April 30, 2023. The press release describes the entry requirements and possible fields of work after graduating from the course. Additionally, there is a brochure that can be downloaded with detailed information on the new course.
