Metrohm has launched its new IMPACT software. According to a press release issued by the company based in the St.GallenBodenseeArea, this is part of the cutting-edge software from Metrohm Process Analytics. IMPACT stands for Intelligent Metrohm Process Analytics Control Technology and is the user interface with all programming options, result display and communication protocols for data exchange with process control systems. The software supports the early detection of process events in order to prevent system downtime and production losses. IMPACT is available for the process analyzers of the 2060 analyzer platform.
The press release mentions real-time data processing and fast response times as advantages of the software. The user interfaces can be individually configured to focus on the important parameters, while there is also an intuitive user interface for smooth navigation between multiple operational screens. Moreover, the system can be fully remotely controlled via various process communication protocols and the control parameters for alarms and diagnostic functions can be defined. In addition to the chemical analysis, intuitive and intelligent software is one of the decisive factors behind the success of inline, online and local atline analysis, Metrohm writes in the press release.
With IMPACT, Metrohm Process Analytics is additionally presenting a new member of the 2060 analyzer platform, namely the 2060 The NIR Analyzer. Based on a high-throughput spectrometer, this process analyzer is the perfect solution for inline process monitoring of multiple parameters and sample streams at the same time, the press release states.
