Lausanne-based start-up Altkimya was founded in 2020 by a team of three experienced IT professionals with extensive data skills. Their mission is to offer a robust, scalable, and affordable platform for IT Managed Services 2.0 that automates operations, reduces production costs, and enhances the overall efficiency and productivity of organizations.

Based at the Trust Village of the unlimitrust campus, Altkimya has successfully raised CHF 1.2 million in funding, primarily from individual investors. This round of funding will enable the company to expand its innovative data factory platform, Aurigae, and provide unified Security and Observability (SecObs) solutions for IT professionals and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).

Enhancing data processing and expanding capabilities

The Aurigae Data Factory platform is designed to collect, store, and process billions of data records in real-time with maximum flexibility. By integrating all required technologies from data collection to data visualization, the platform provides maximum efficiency and performance. Altkimya’s in-house architecture allows for deployment in pure SaaS, distributed architecture (where data doesn’t leave the end user’s site), or on-premises as part of a specific managed service model.

The funds raised will enable Altkimya to achieve several key objectives, including increasing the capacities of the Aurigae data factory to process data at high speeds and support the first 40 organizations, developing the first AI-driven universal connector capable of connecting to any data source and automatically recognizing its format for real-time data preparation and immediate analysis, and creating unified SecObs solutions for IT professionals to optimize their Security Operations Center (SOC) and Network Operations Center (NOC) platforms while offering next-gen packaged solutions to their customers.
