With the takeover of the laboratory in the premises of the Medical Center Bad Ragaz in the canton of St.Gallen, the Dr. Risch Group is expanding its lab-based diagnostics service. This sixth location in the Eastern Switzerland/Zurich region is a Point-of-Care-Testing laboratory with qualified sampling and will be run as a branch of the large lab in Buchs. The Vaduz-based group operates a total of 22 laboratories across Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
The medical center is located in the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, a 5-star wellness hotel. The new location serves resident doctors, external physicians, specialists and hotel guests. “Diagnostic examinations for primary care are carried out directly on site in Bad Ragaz, which enables us to bring laboratory diagnostics close to the patient”, explains CEO Dr. med. Martin Risch in a press release.
According to the information in the press release, a comprehensive spectrum of analytical services is on offer at the company’s large laboratories in Buchs and Bern. This includes the analysis of enzymes, metabolites, diabetes, proteins, cardiac markers, lipids, electrolytes, urine and coagulation.
