The Zurich-based startup dacadoo operates a healthcare platform by the same name that supports private individuals and company employees assess and improve their health in real time. By using online games and other motivation techniques, users are encouraged to stay active and lead a healthy lifestyle
According to a statement, the company was able to bring home three prizes in the space of just one week. It beat out around 400 healthcare companies worldwide to win an award at the global BeWell Challenge 2016, organised by Merck Sharpe & Dohme (MSD). dacadoo and eight other companies were named winners.
dacadoo was also recognised by the international Journal of mHealth as one of the 100 most innovative digital healthcare companies in the world to win at the Digital Health Global 100 Award. The company also won bronze at the Best of Swiss Apps Awards in the category Internet of Things (IoT).
