During Sibos in Geneva, the Business Angel Group run by the Swiss ICT Investor Club (SICTIC) closed a partnership deal with the British FINTECH Circle. Thanks to the partnership, all members of both organisations will be able to take advantage of the membership benefits of the respective partners, thereby gaining access to new investment opportunities, explained a statement.

Start-ups will also benefit from the partnership, because they will be able to present their business ideas to two organisations at once. They will also have the opportunity to showcase themselves on an international stage, while young entrepreneurs will be able to participate in FinTech programmes in London as well as Zurich. Successful programmes from London will also be brought to Switzerland.

The next programme will take place in November. Young entrepreneurs can register for the Swiss Fintech Investor Day, which will see 12 selected start-ups present their business ideas with the opportunity to find an investor, until 2nd October.

SICTIC Fintech Angels was founded in June with the aim of helping Swiss start-ups find venture capitalists in the early stages in particular. FINTECH Circle is one of the biggest Business Angel networks in Europe. It focuses on supporting FinTechs in London.
