Glass is durable, impermeable, hygienic, malleable, aesthetic and natural. That is why it cannot be beaten as packaging material – for food and beverages. Vetropack has been passionate about forming glass for over 100 years. Day in, day out, around the clock.

Glass packaging to satisfy the highest expectations Vetropack is one of the leading glass packaging manufacturers in Europe. By offering glass packaging for the food and beverage industry as well as an extensive range of services, Vetropack supplies standard glass containers and individual special productions to satisfy the highest expectations. The company works with its customers to develop glass packaging in a careful process, visually supporting the product idea and the marketing strategy, and doing maximum justice to retail and consumer expectations. The services range from the design of first-class packaging, high-quality production and timely delivery to consultation and support in the areas of packaging analysis, filling technology, conditioning technology and sealing technology, glass refinement and labeling.   The comprehensive range of services is the basis for the Vetropack Group's strong position as a market leader with glass plants in Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Ukraine and, since 2015, Italy. As part of the corporate strategy, the company focuses on interrelated economic zones in western and eastern Europe. The group has over 3,000 employees. The 8 glass plants have 18 melting tanks in total with a production capacity of over 4,000 daily tons of packaging glass. All the plants are certified in accordance with ISO 9001. The glass plants in Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Ukraine also have the FSSC-22000 certificate.   Responsibility for the environment Vetropack is committed to recycling. Collection organizations are in operation at all locations, either run by the company itself or together with special-purpose associations. They feed old glass into the company's own glassworks for recycling. The conscious handling of raw materials is an important component of ecological sustainability. Furthermore, melting energy is saved by the use of broken glass: For every 10 percent of old glass, 3 percent of the energy and 7 percent of the CO2 emissions are saved.   Vetropack Holding AG Schützenmattstrasse 48 CH-8180 Bülach Tel. +41 (0) 44 863 31 31
