CRB Group, which is based in Kansas City, Missouri, serves several markets, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and food. As its existing client base includes businesses from the Basel region, opening an office in Basel “a natural step in CRB’s European expansion strategy,” according to a statement from BaselArea.swiss.
“CRBers – as our consultants are called at the company – have already spent a good amount of time in Basel supporting local life sciences clients,” said Brian Peasly, the manager of Basel Office. “They were extremely pleased with living and working in Basel. So, the decision to put down roots in Basel with a physical office was easy for us.” He added that swift service from BaselArea.swiss meant that the new office was operational in no time.
CRB Group’s plans for its new office go beyond serving its existing client base; the company also plans to use the office as a European hub to access other clients across the continent. To this end, CRB Group plans to grow to over 30 people at its Basel office within the next few years.
