JWT is one of the world’s oldest advertising agencies. Headquartered in New York, it has a global presence. To help its employees network, JWT contracted the Zurich-based company Starmind to develop a programme. Pangaea is the outcome.
Pangaea is a solution based on artificial intelligence. If a JWT employee has a question, Pangaea can forward it to the right expert in the organisation for an answer.
The system, which connects 12,000 people in JWT’s global network, continues to develop while in use. If one employee has a better answer to a question than another, any similar requests will be forwarded to this person in future.
“Pangaea is named after the supercontinent that once existed before the continents broke apart and became what we know them to be today. The solution is our way of bringing the world back together,” explained JWT CEO Tamara Ingram in a statement published on startupticker.
Starmind was founded in Zurich in 2010. The company develops different solutions based on artificial intelligence to improve communication in the workplace.
