A total of three finalists were nominated for the 2020 Export Award: Berlinger & Co. AG from Ganterschwil, Sensirion AG from Stäfa and Storz Medical AG from Tägerwilen. The independent jury comprising representatives from the world of business, science and media chose Berlinger & Co. AG from Toggenburg. The company convinced the jurors with its internationalization strategy, based on careful market analyses, the cultivation of worldwide partnerships and a clever growth strategy.
Award presentation by Ruth Metzler-Arnold
The trophy of the 2020 Export Award was presented by Ruth Metzler-Arnold, Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board at S-GE. “International business has been becoming increasingly uncertain and volatile for years,” says Ruth Metzler-Arnold. “Berlinger & Co. AG has managed to prove itself in this difficult environment, becoming the global market leader with a remarkable internationalization strategy and outstanding risk management.”

AG’s high-tech products are used for the temperature monitoring of pharmaceutical and medical products, as well as for the safe transport and storage of doping samples in top-class sport.
