Karin Taheny was an S-GE board member from 2018 to 2022. In her new role as Chief Digital + Technology Officer, she will now also drive digital transformation in export promotion and investment promotion on an operational level. “We want to take account of the rapid developments in the digital area and have decided to bring together all activities relating to this topic in the new Digital + Technology division,” says Simone Wyss Fedele, CEO of S-GE. “We are convinced that Karin Taheny, with her leadership qualities and expertise in digital and international business as well as her global professional experience, is the ideal person for this position and we are delighted to welcome her to the Executive Committee.”
After gaining her master’s degree in business administration from the Universities of Zurich and Limerick (Ireland), Karin Taheny worked in various companies worldwide where she supported clients with the implementation of digital strategies. She worked for Google in San Francisco, among others. From 2015, she managed the Operations and Finance division at DEPT® Switzerland (formerly Yourposition AG and Hinderling Volkart AG) in Zurich and was a member of the Executive Committee.
