Switzerland has been supporting Nepal’s development endeavors over the years in various key sectors such as agriculture, rural infrastructure development, technical education and vocational training, and more recently in migration and federal state building. Since 2009, Switzerland has been represented in Nepal through an integrated Embassy, which manages both diplomatic and consular affairs, as well as the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC)’s activities in Nepal.

The country has a stable and democratically elected government and is poised to develop and modernize its infrastructure and industries, as well as improve the lives of its citizens.
