The German aerospace industry has enjoyed unprecedented success over the last two decades. Since the mid-90’s, industry revenues have more than quadrupled – to over EUR 30 billion in 2019. With over 2’300 companies, employing a workforce of over 100 thousand, the aerospace sector spent around 11 percent of turnover on R&D – making it one of the country’s most innovative industries. Universities with highly specialized aviation programs and research institutions promote industry-specific innovation.
The Aerospace Trade Mission to Germany is a dynamic business trip to some of Germanys big players within the industry, aiming at generating business opportunities and fostering R&D collaborations for Swiss companies in Germany. It is organized by Switzerland Global Enterprise in collaboration with the Swiss Aerospace Cluster.
Even if the German industry offers concrete market opportunities, entering the sector is certainly not an easy task. Technical excellence is not enough; partnerships are key for potential new suppliers to build trust with the customers in the industry.
Who should participate
Swiss companies, seeking business opportunities and R&D collaborations within the industry. Tier1, 2 and 3 suppliers in the Aerospace industry and companies interested in contributing to technology- and knowhow exchange with German counterparts.
This trade mission aims at accelerating business, through:
• One-to-one business meetings with potential partners and customers
• Site visits to OEM and/or Tier 1 suppliers
• 3 pitching sessions
• High-level networking with potential business partners, investors and peers

If participation is cancelled by 15th January 2021, 50% of the participation fee will be charged
If participation is cancelled after 15th January 2021, 100% of the participation fee will be charged
