Impulse Event: After Sales Service in China

China has become a significant but challenging market for many Swiss SMEs. Increasing competition in the Chinese market and the government’s plans to modernize the economy have also made after-sales services, in other words product-related, service-oriented offers, even more important for profit-driven business in China. Customers today expect a complete package that includes after-sales services. Maintenance, installation, spare parts logistics, technical support and training are thus becoming increasingly important tools for businesses to set themselves apart from the competition.

At the Impulse Event: After-Sales Service in China on September 25, 2018 in Lausanne, you will learn how pairing products with services can help set your business apart from the competition, how to create customer loyalty and how providing these services can help your company tap into new areas of business.

At the event, the ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences) and the HTW Chur (University of Applied Sciences) will present their collective CTI project guidelines for After-Sales Services in China. In this context, PricewaterhouseCoopers will report on the subject of logistics and customs and will use a case study to demonstrate how companies can best protect themselves against health risks that are damaging to their business. The consulting office SIM (Selective International Management) will show you how outsourcing of after sales service can be implemented. In addition, two Swiss SMEs, including the Bühler Group and Agie Charmilles Services SA (Georg Fischer Group) will talk about their experiences and provide you with valuable insight into their steps towards internationalization. The event will be rounded off with a networking aperitif, which will give you plenty of time to make new contacts.
