It is no coincidence that both the University of Oxford and Switzerland's ETH Zurich rank among the global top 10 academic institutes for Life Sciences. We plan to further examine the two locations landscapes for fostering innovation within this field. We have brought an exciting line-up of speakers for this visit.
On panel 1, you will hear from the leading academic and company representatives behind the Oxford-Cambridge Vaccine and how that had impacted and shaped the development of future vaccines. We have lined up a panel that includes Professor Sir Andrew Pollard a key member of the vaccine taskforce, as well as speakers from AstraZeneca and a new exciting vaccine biotech SpyBiotech to hear their experiences and their thoughts on the future development of vaccines.
Panel 2 will focus on the impact that Covid 19 has had on the future of digital health technologies. We have speakers from Novartis, Misanto and they will be joined by the CEO of Oxford Nanopore, Dr Gordon Sanghera, Professor Niki Trigoni, CTO and founder of Navenio and Dr Clare Bloomfield from NHS Digital.
