Joined by our partners - the Embassy of Switzerland in the United Kingdom, Presence Switzerland and Innosuisse - the Swiss Business Hub UK + Ireland is organizing several business-driven events through the "Switzerland in the UK Tour", taking place in the United Kingdom's largest hubs in MedTech, Cleantech, Space Tech, Lifesciences and Robotics, this summer.
The Switzerland in the UK Tour is intended to position Switzerland in the major economic and political hubs across all four nations of the UK. The program of activities at each stop will highlight the many links between Switzerland and the UK that can be found across the country in the five priority areas of innovation, economic development, the Swiss-UK bilateral relationship, finance and sustainability outlined in Switzerland's Global Strategy. The focus will be on Switzerland as an innovation force, with events involving established Swiss companies but also exciting start-ups and academic and research cooperation. The program will also involve engagements with the Swiss community and highlight just some of the contributions (e.g. innovative and sustainable solutions) that Swiss companies make to British society. Face-to-face meetings and new encounters with partners from business, science, culture and politics will allow us to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Switzerland and the UK as a whole.
#WeAreSwitzerland is an initiative by the Embassy of Switzerland in the United Kingdom to build on the existing partnerships between Switzerland and the UK and forge new ones across the fields of innovation, science, economics, politics and culture.
