A Cleantech Innovation and Business Exchange between Slovakia and Switzerland held under the auspices of H.E. Zuzana Čaputová President of the Slovak Republic and H.E. Ignazio Cassis President of the Swiss Confederation.
Switzerland and Slovakia – two future-oriented countries are ready to accelerate cooperation in driving innovations and sustainability through Cleantech investments and solutions.
In Slovakia, the share of renewable energy is expected to grow significantly in the coming years and the country is planning to heavily invest in waste management and the circular economy. Moreover, Smart City are one of Slovakia’s priorities for the new EU Financial Period 2021-2027.
Switzerland is one of the world’s leading innovation hotspots in the Cleantech sector. Over the last years, the sector grew at a faster rate than the nation’s economy as a whole, in terms of both added value and jobs. With the use of the latest technology and renewable energy sources, the Swiss government’s ambitious goal is to become a net-zero-greenhouse-gas-emission society by 2050.
The cleantech innovation and business exchange between Slovakia and Switzerland offers you a diverse program with insightful speeches from the political and business sphere as well as specific market insights from both countries.
