Swiss Medtech’s Foreign Trade expert group (Fachgruppe Aussenhandel SWISS MEDTECH) is hosting its first ever public event about the global medtech sector. Join specialized sessions with industry experts and other medtech companies to discuss trade compliance and the challenges and opportunities of doing business abroad. Ask questions, receive advice and learn from the experiences of companies operating in your (future) markets.
The aim of this online peer-to-peer event is to enable companies to share their experiences and discuss the international business challenges and opportunities in the medtech sector. After an introductory session, three breakout sessions will give participants the opportunity to delve deeper into topics that directly affect their businesses.
In-depth discussions: From opportunities in Africa to uncertainties in Iran
The breakout sessions will be guided by experts with experience in the relevant field or country. The first session looks at how to navigate the unique uncertainties and benefits of doing business in Iran and the post-Brexit United Kingdom. The discussion will provide valuable insights for companies thinking about entering those markets as well as existing market players. In the second session participants will explore medtech opportunities and emerging trends in South Africa, Nigeria and Egypt, while the third session will be a discussion of common trade compliance issues with peer input about how to successfully handle them.
The Foreign Trade expert group (Fachgruppe Aussenhandel SWISS MEDTECH) consists of medtech executives and specialists who manage the globalization of business activities and export/import issues at a strategic or operational level.
