This report aims to identify the potential business opportunities in India for Swiss cleantech companies. These opportunities can be broadly classified into three cleantech segments, namely (i) Battery storage and renewable energy, (ii) Advanced and emerging sustainable alternative public transit systems for the future, and (iii) Technologies for energy optimization and sustainability in railways. The research team has used various technical and non-technical parameters to classify the identified opportunities based on their commercial feasibility in India. These parameters helped us prioritise the opportunities. Six opportunities from each cleantech segment with the highest commercial feasibility scores are presented in this report.
