In Chile, energy consumption in buildings is highly polluting locally and changes are required urgently. That is why the government is supporting initiatives that contribute to the decarbonization of the built environment. One of these initiatives is the Swiss standard "Minergie", which seeks to improve the quality of buildings by reducing the energy consumption of projects.
Minergie is working on building a network in Chile that generates alliances between providers of products and designers of sustainable construction buildings that meet the Minergie quality standard. By 2025, we expect to have more than 100 Minergie experts and the certification of over 80 objects annually. In parallel, Minergie Chile is forming partnerships with various manufacturers of sustainable construction products and technologies to promote the development of a market for products with the quality standard that Minergie guarantees.
