VirtaMed AG wins the EXPORT AWARD 2019

The jury has spoken: the winner of the Export Award 2019 from Switzerland Global Enterprise is Virtamed AG. In addition to the Zurich-based company, Camag AG from Muttenz and Andermatt Biocontrol AG from Grossdietwil also reached the final.

The winner has been chosen at the Aussenwirtschaftsforum on March 26 in Zurich. The award was presented by Ruth Metzler-Arnold, President of the Advisory Board at S-GE.

 

VIRTAMED AG: Virtual surgery
Whether it involves orthopaedics, urology or gynaecology, virtaMed simulators allow endoscopic procedures to be performed in a realistic manner. The SME employs 100 people from 20 countries in Schlieren and has two subsidiaries and a worldwide distribution network. VirtaMed is a leader in virtual training for minimally invasive surgery. And while simulation is establishing itself as a training method, the company aims to develop further products and services for hospitals, training centres and medtech producers.

CAMAG: Labels in the laboratory
HPTLC stands for “high-performance thin-layer chromatography” and is also the basis of CAMAG's success story.
