About us

Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) is the official Swiss organization for export and investment promotion. With a unique global network, S-GE supports more than 6,500 Swiss companies every year in their international business and helps innovative foreign companies on their way to settling in Switzerland.

As a private consulting and platform organization mandated by the Swiss Confederation and the cantons, Switzerland Global Enterprise (S‑GE) supports Swiss companies worldwide in their international business and assists selected foreign innovation leaders on their way to establishing a presence in Switzerland. With around 200 employees and more than 3,000 partners, S‑GE operates in about 25 countries through its own teams – the Swiss Business Hubs (SBH) – which are integrated into the diplomatic missions of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).

Mandates

Since 1927, S-GE has been commissioned by the Swiss Confederation (State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO) with export promotion and since 2008 by SECO and all the cantons with investment promotion. The basis for this is the Swiss Confederation’s dispatch on promotion activities and its goal of creating added value for Switzerland as a business location through more competitive Swiss SMEs and settlements of companies with strong value creation potential.
