United Arab Emirates: New System for Commercial Document Certification

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates (MoFAIC) has introduced a new system for the certification of certificates of origin and commercial invoices as of 1 February 2023.
Once the chamber of commerce certifies the documents, the exporter should upload them to the eDAS System for consular certification. Documents are no longer certified by the Arab-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CASCI) and the consulate of the United Arab Emirates.
