This report (leaflet) deals with the new EU Packaging Regulation PPWR (Regulation (EU) 2025/40) and explains which requirements will apply to packaging and packaging waste in the future and how companies along the supply chain can prepare for this.
The focus is on the fact that the PPWR will become directly applicable law in all EU member states from 12 August 2026 – and will therefore also be relevant for Swiss companies as soon as they place packaging or packaged products on the EU market or have other contact with packaging/packaging waste in the EU.
