The Swiss Institute for Entrepreneurship at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons has compiled guidelines for you on how to efficiently integrate and digitalize your work with suppliers and customers.
As part of an Innosuisse project, the Swiss Institute for Entrepreneurship (SIFE) at the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons (FHGR) has developed a practice-oriented guide for integrating and digitalizing the supply chain of SMEs in collaboration with leading companies.
Against the backdrop of rising costs, increasing complexity in global procurement and the growing demand for faster delivery times, the guide uses a fictitious company to illustrate in an accessible manner how SMEs can efficiently integrate and digitalize their internal processes and collaboration with suppliers and customers. The focus is on increasing competitiveness through seamless networking of the entire supply chain.
The three-stage model described in the guide leads companies from an analysis of the current situation, through the definition of specific objectives, to the implementation of practical transformation measures. Companies can thus optimize their supply chain processes and adapt them to the requirements of the digital age step by step.
The guidelines were developed in close cooperation with companies from different industries, who contributed their real-world challenges and experiences during the workshops. The valuable insights and recommendations for action in the guide are intended to help SMEs efficiently digitalize their supply chains and successfully meet the challenges of the market.
