Can you describe the company's long-term vision, and what milestones do you hope to achieve in the next 5 to 10 years?

Our long-term vision is to drive the transformation of food production through advanced engineering, promoting efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Over the next 5 to 10 years, we aim to achieve several key milestones: a strong and competitive team, expansion of our services in QA and ingredients, global reach by expanding in the Middle and the Far East, stronger presence in Sustainability Projects and increased client’s success and partnerships.
 

What is your USP? What are the biggest operational challenges you face, and how do you address them?

Delta Projects' Unique Selling Proposition lies in our specialized expertise in Food Engineering combined with a commitment to Sustainability and Innovation. We offer end-to-end solutions tailored to the specific needs of our clients in Food Manufacturing, from designing optimized processing facilities to implementing advanced automation and safety protocols.
 

What kind of challenges have you encountered so far, and what is one achievement that you are particularly proud of?

One of the significant challenges Delta Projects has encountered is meeting client needs across various markets. As a global company with offices in Switzerland, Spain, and the U.S., we serve clients with different processes, packaging, regulatory requirements, and local market conditions.

Each region has its unique set of challenges, those can be generated by regulations, consumer preferences, raw material sourcing, weather challenges etc. Our solutions are tailored to these diverse needs while respecting the universal requirements for food safety and maintaining the high standards and consistency that Delta Projects is known for.
 

Can you discuss any recent collaborations or partnerships that have been particularly impactful for your business?

Delta Projects has recently engaged in several impactful collaborations that have significantly advanced our business and expanded our capabilities in food engineering and manufacturing.

One of them is a strategic partnership with an International Food Manufacturer. Delta Projects redesigned and optimized their production facilities. This partnership has been transformative for our business, as it allowed us to apply our engineering expertise on a large scale and showcase our ability to deliver complex, customized solutions. The success of this partnership, which resulted in production efficiency increment and a significant operational costs reduction for the client, has enhanced our reputation and led to further opportunities in the global market.
 

How do you balance cost-efficiency with the need for sustainable and eco-friendly solutions?

At Delta Projects, cost-efficiency and sustainability are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary goals. We balance these priorities to deliver maximum value to our clients. One of the approaches is Integrated-design Approach that incorporates sustainability from the beginning of each project. Secondly, by analyzing and refining every step of the production process and our specialization in process optimization, which help our clients reduce waste and improve resource utilization and reduce emissions. For the existing facilities, we perform comprehensive lifecycle cost analyses to help clients understand the long-term financial and environmental benefits of sustainable solutions.

What are the most significant trends you see shaping the future of the construction and engineering industry?

Food safety is the talk today and will increasingly be a driving requirement for the food industry. Hygienic Engineering and Process Mastership are strongly requested currently and will be increasingly requested in future, as well.

Time-saving is also becoming a key factor in decision-making, with prefabricated solutions, modular construction, and phased projects increasingly meeting clients' needs. The rising prices of raw materials and energy will necessitate low-waste and low-consumption solutions, aligning with our strong areas of expertise.
 

What motivates you personally in your role, and what do you consider your biggest achievement since joining delta Projects?

The motivation in my role is the chance to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions in food engineering. The challenge of solving complex problems and improving clients’ efficiency, safety, and sustainability fuels my passion. The growth of a motivated and competent team is the greatest reward for all our efforts since the founding of Delta Projects.
 

Are there any upcoming projects or initiatives that you are particularly excited about and would like to share? How can S-GE best support you in your international expansion and what do you value the most of your membership? 

We are thrilled to share that Delta Projects will be participating in the Gulfood Manufacturing Expo in Dubai, UAE, this November. This event marks another significant step in our expansion into the Middle Eastern market, following our successful participation in the Saudi Food Expo earlier this year.

S-GE has been a crucial partner in our international expansion efforts, especially as we venture into the Middle Eastern market. Their support in providing direction and valuable information about local markets has been instrumental in our participation in the two expos.
