Entropya AG is a Swiss cybersecurity company headquartered in Rüschlikon, specializing in quantum-secure, untraceable critical digital infrastructure and communications. The company’s proprietary Digital Camouflage technology removes the digital footprints that cyber attackers exploit. Rather than merely defending against attacks, Entropya eliminates the attack surface entirely. It delivers zero-configuration solutions that integrate with legacy systems, including secure communications and mobile solutions, and deliver the highest-grade protection for data in transit and at rest. Entropya serves governmental, defense, and enterprise clients worldwide.
Entropya AG pioneers Digital Camouflage, a fundamentally new proactive approach to cybersecurity that makes critical infrastructure untraceable. The company’s technology removes the digital identifiers that attackers exploit, eliminating the attack surface before a breach can begin. Its architecture enables fully sovereign deployments, meaning organizations can run their own secure, independent networks without reliance on traditional VPNs, proxies, or third-party services. With operations in Switzerland, Romania, and the United States, Entropya’s flagship solutions, the Entropya Encrypted Network (EEN) and Pi Epsilon communications platform, are deployed across multiple countries in defense and enterprise sectors, delivering quantum-secure protection through rapid deployment and operational simplicity.
Entropya AG has achieved remarkable growth in a short period of time – what has the journey been like from its founding to the present, and which milestones have had the greatest impact on the company?
The journey began with a clear mission: to develop sovereign, quantum-secure cybersecurity solutions from Switzerland, built to make critical infrastructure untraceable and protect it against sophisticated persistent threats, including the emerging risk of quantum computing. From our Swiss headquarters, we expanded internationally with subsidiaries in Romania and the United States. The biggest milestones have been the successful live deployments of our Entropya Encrypted Network, a private, quantum-secure Software-Defined Network (SDN) that protects data at its most vulnerable point, when in motion. These live deployments are complemented by the establishment of strategic international partnerships.
What makes Entropya AG unique, and how have you built and consolidated your market position over time?
Most cybersecurity solutions focus on detecting and blocking attacks. We take a fundamentally different approach. We make infrastructure untraceable so attackers cannot find their target in the first place. We call this Digital Camouflage. By removing all digital identifiers that adversaries typically exploit, such as IP addresses, server locations, and network metadata, we eliminate the attack surface before a breach can begin. Combined with our Swiss values of precision, trust, and privacy, along with 25+ years of practitioner expertise and patented technology, we have established a distinctive leadership position in the sovereign cybersecurity market.
International expansion is a key issue for many Swiss companies – in which sectors or markets is Entropya AG already active, and how have you approached this?
Operating from our Swiss headquarters, we serve government, critical infrastructure, and enterprise clients across Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Our approach combines Swiss quality standards with flexible local execution. We build strategic partnerships with trusted regional partners, participate in key industry events, and engage directly with clients who prioritize full control over their own data and infrastructure.
What challenges have you faced during your expansion, and what advice would you give to other Swiss companies planning similar steps?
The greatest challenge has been educating international markets about a fundamentally new approach to cybersecurity. Many organizations feel overwhelmed by the prospect of adopting or upgrading to post-quantum cryptography. We address this by making the transition to quantum-secure protection as simple as possible.
My advice to fellow Swiss companies: lead with the problem your client faces, not your product. Build trust through demonstrable results, not marketing promises. Data privacy and trust are strategic assets that open doors worldwide.
Export is a key growth driver for many SMEs – what role does the export business play for Entropya AG, and in which target markets do you see the greatest potential?
Export is the backbone of our growth strategy. Post-quantum cybersecurity is a global need. We see the greatest potential in regions investing heavily in digital sovereignty and critical infrastructure protection, particularly the Middle East, South Asia, and Latin America. Sectors like finance, health, energy, and government rely on shared networks that are vulnerable to advanced threats, making our solutions particularly relevant.
How are you addressing increasing geopolitical uncertainties and regulatory requirements?
Geopolitical uncertainty is actually accelerating demand for what we offer. Governments and enterprises worldwide are seeking solutions that guarantee data sovereignty, keeping their sensitive information under their own control and independent of foreign infrastructure providers. We are uniquely positioned. Switzerland’s political neutrality, world-leading data protection laws, and trusted legal framework give our clients confidence. Our technology aligns with the latest international post-quantum security standards (NIST FIPS 203), ensuring long-term resilience.
Where do you see Entropya AG in five years – what strategic priorities are at the top of your agenda?
In five years, we want Entropya to be the global reference for untraceable, quantum-secure infrastructure – the company that defined the Digital Camouflage category. Our strategic priorities are scaling deployments across defense and critical infrastructure sectors, expanding our international partner ecosystem, operating from our Swiss base, and continuing to innovate in post-quantum cryptography and network obfuscation (camouflage).
What roles do innovation and digitalization play in your growth strategy for the future?
Innovation is the core of everything we do at Entropya. We focus on developing solutions today that protect against future threats, particularly quantum computers that could break current encryption, as well as AI systems that increase the speed and sophistication of cyberattacks. Our technology implements the latest NIST post-quantum cryptography standards while enhancing security through simplicity.
What values and principles shape the corporate culture at Entropya AG – and how do you put them into practice in your daily work, especially in an increasingly international environment?
Our culture is built on uncompromising security, technical integrity, mission-driven innovation, and trust. These principles guide every product decision, every client engagement, and every hire. We operate as a close-knit family and place strong emphasis on veteran integration, bringing together operational expertise and advanced leadership experience. As an international team across three countries, we combine Swiss precision and quality standards with the agility needed to serve clients in diverse regulatory and cultural environments. We believe cybersecurity should serve people, not overwhelm them, which is why simplicity remains a core design principle.
Entropya AG is a member of Switzerland Global Enterprise – what specific benefits do you derive from this membership, and how can S-GE best support you on your journey?
S-GE provides invaluable market intelligence, access to diplomatic trade networks, and structured export support that directly accelerates our international expansion. These connections are essential. They help us navigate complex procurement environments in regions where trust and neutrality matter most. Going forward, we would particularly value continued support in market entry strategy in key growth markets, targeted matchmaking with sovereign infrastructure buyers, and increased visibility for Swiss cybersecurity innovation on the global stage.
