Damir Bogdan nominated for the Board of Directors of Switzerland Global Enterprise

The Board of Directors of Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) will propose Damir Bogdan as a new member at the 2027 General Meeting. The entrepreneur and technology expert from eastern Switzerland will further boost S-GE’s expertise in the areas of artificial intelligence, digitalization and technological innovation.
Damir Bogdan is the founder of QuantumBasel AG, center of excellence for quantum computing and artificial intelligence, where he is responsible for global strategy development, partnership building as well as market and customer development. In 2015 he founded Actvide AG, and as CEO he advises companies in the areas of business transformation, digitalization and strategy. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Raiffeisen Switzerland, including eight years as CIO, Head of Operations and a member of the Executive Board. Damir Bogdan has many years’ international experience and serves on a number of different boards and committees.

Chairwoman S-GEDamir Bogdan succeeds Andrej Vckovski, who will step down from the Board of Directors at the 2027 General Meeting. “On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Andrej Vckovski for his great commitment over the past few years,” says Ruth Metzler-Arnold. Andrej Vckovski has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2018, supporting S-GE with its digitalization efforts in particular, and chaired the Board of Directors’ Digital and Innovation Committee. Damir Bogdan will ensure continuity of this expertise on the Board of Directors.
Change at the top of the S-GE Board of Directors
Ruth Metzler-Arnold will be stepping down as Chair of the Board of Directors at the 2027 General Meeting, when the Board of Directors will propose Simone Wyss Fedele as her successor.
