Marcel Wüthrich to become Chief of Export Promotion Officer at Switzerland Global Enterprise

From 1 May 2026, Marcel Wüthrich will take over as Chief of Export Promotion Officer and become a member of the Executive Board of Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE). He will succeed Anja Fiedler, who is taking over overall management of S-GE in the role of CEO. With his many years of management experience in international business, Marcel Wüthrich is the ideal addition to the organization.
The Board of Directors of S-GE has appointed Marcel Wüthrich as the company’s new Chief Export Promotion Officer.
Marcel Wüthrich has more than 20 years of experience in international business, acquired in the machine industry, the life sciences and medtech sector, and as part of advisory roles for start-ups. In addition to various roles in marketing, customer service, consulting and international business development, he has held management positions in Switzerland and as country manager in Europe and around the world, including at Disetronic Medical Systems (now Ypsomed) and Roche Diagnostics. He led global, regional and country teams with up to 200 employees in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, the US and Asia, developed highly diverse markets and established international partnerships. Most recently, he was Chief Global Business Development + Commercial at Evoleen, where he drove innovation projects in the global pharmaceutical and medtech environment.

Chairwoman of S-GEMarcel Wüthrich is 50 years of age and married. Hailing from Emmental, he now lives in Basel. He holds an executive MBA from IMD Lausanne and has completed numerous courses in leadership, change management and innovation.
