CIMT 2027
China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT), established in Beijing in 1989, is China’s largest, most comprehensive and most influential professional exhibition for the machine-tool industry. It is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading machine-tool trade fairs, alongside EMO Hannover in Europe, IMTS in the United States and JIMTOF in Japan.
For the 2027 edition, approximately 40 Swiss companies are expected to participate in the Swiss Pavilion, organized by Swissmem, the leading association representing both SMEs and large corporations in Switzerland’s technology industry. This will create one of the strongest Swiss presences ever at an industry-specific trade fair in China and provide an important platform for showcasing Switzerland’s expertise in precision engineering, advanced manufacturing and machine-tool technology.

Organizers
Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) and the Swiss Business Hub China will support Swissmem in managing the Swiss Pavilion and coordinating the associated side events at CIMT. This collaboration will strengthen the visibility and positioning of Swiss exhibitors in the Chinese market, highlight the exceptional quality and innovative capacity of the Swiss machine-tool industry, and further promote Switzerland as a leading partner for advanced manufacturing and industrial technologies.
