In this webinar, you will receive a compact overview of what preferential rules of origin mean in the context of the currently applicable free trade agreements from the Swiss/EFTA perspective, which proofs of origin are available and when which proof is required – for example EUR.1, EUR.1 CN, declarations of origin or supplier declarations.
Rules of origin and correct proof of origin are a central prerequisite for being able to use preferential tariffs and avoid customs risks. At the same time, in practice, questions often arise about the correct application of the rules and which proof of origin is required under the respective free trade agreement.
Our expert Reiner Koch from the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security will guide you through the topic, give a brief introduction and explain the application using specific case studies. He will also introduce the new web application “Certificat,” which can be used to create new digital EUR.1 certificates in the context of certain agreements.
During the webinar, you also have the opportunity to ask your questions directly via chat, we will be happy to address them in the subsequent Q&A session.
