Dubai/Lugano - Fuze Finance has opened an office in Lugano. With this expansion into Switzerland, the crypto-asset infrastructure provider, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, is extending its operations to Western Europe.
(CONNECT) Fuze Finance AG (Fuze), headquartered in Dubai, has expanded to Lugano. With this new Swiss office, the internationally active crypto-asset infrastructure provider brings its operations and services to Western Europe, according to a statement. Fuze says it will provide institutional clients with crypto-asset infrastructure and stablecoin settlement alongside SWIFT, SEPA, and SIC rails, combining digital and conventional infrastructure in one regulated offering. The company will also offer crypto-asset services to private banks and asset managers.
The Geneva-based Supervisory Organization for Financial Intermediaries and Trustees (SO-FIT) – which is subject to oversight by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) – has approved Fuze as an affiliated financial intermediary. According to the statement, this license for Switzerland complements Fuze’s existing licenses in the Middle East, Turkey, Canada, and the United States.
“Switzerland has built a regulatory framework that treats crypto-assets as a core to the future of finance,” said Gianluca Masini, Country Manager of Fuze Finance (Switzerland). “Under SO-FIT, we are establishing and growing an on-ground team with agile local decision-making. Swiss banks and fintechs hold their partners to a high standard and we want to provide the best possible service from day one.” ce/ww
